That is true. It's both good and bad... he is off the ball faster than anyone.

It's hard not seeing them side by side, but watching both separately I have no idea how anyone could make a clear call on that. But definitely both very fast off the snap. Werner has finished a lot better than Mingo though.

My comment, however, was referring to anyone on the LSU line.

Shock - You're overlooking my guy Banks, who is a perfect fit for our Cover 3 scheme. Can be physical, will play the run, just not consistent in that area yet. Doesn't have the agility or recovery speed of a nickel or pure man corner. But we don't need that. Has length, and enough speed to be a successful #1 CB.

FWIW, Mingo has the quickest snap off the ball, Jarvis Jones is a close second. Werner isn't in their league imo

I need to see more. He compares similarly to Montgomery. Quicker first step, better pursuit. Lacks the polish. I like Montgomery quite a bit. He has counter moves, doesn't give up, hard effort. He is very stout against the run, he can control his gap, stack and shed to make plays. Moore makes plays in the run game but more often than not it is from backside pursuit or penetration at the LOS. I'll take the guy who can stack and shed, that's what JPP does so well besides rushing the passer.

True. I guess before I make a statement like that I need to look at Banks more.

Right now though I wouldn't draft any of those guys until late in the 1st. And Milliner top of the 2nd.

Werner does have an elite first step compared to the last couple classes of pass rusher. In this class I'll still take Mingo and Jones.

I don't understand the "he can't tackle" claim on Milliner. He is nothing like Cromartie. He plays very aggressively and tackles fine. I think people are basing this off like one youtube video in which he misses a couple tackles.
