He's in love with the shotgun and his teams are consistently playing from behind due to bonehead plays by various players.

Norv has taken him out on 3rd down which hurts his passing game stats. He is a pretty consistently good runner, that just needs to hold onto the ball and stay on the field. He ran into a good run D today.

Remarkably, he has the following stats;

1) He has never scored a touchdown from all of his pass receptions.
2) His longest pass reception is only 42 yards.
3) His longest run is only 39 yards.

Not fumbling and staying healthy are not the only issues with Mathews. How is it possible that Mathews has not been able to to score at least ONE Touchdown from all of his receptions?
