For alot of fans the expectations were lowered at the time Dean made the decision to bring Norv and AJ back this year. Many fans were hoping for a change and a fresh start but that didn't happen.

The problem has now compounded. Not only is the AJ and Norv issue still hanging out there but now there also seems to be a problem with the franchise QB Rivers. Can someone fix Rivers or will he need to be replaced? That is the big issue which will determine if rebuilding is required and what direction the team goes.

My high expectations for this team still lingered around from remembering the good years the Chargers had earlier this decade but the last three years and this Sunday loss to TAMPA forced me to finally stop pretending that we still have a good team now. So yes, expectations are lowered. To me we are in the same league as the JETS, PANTHERS, CHIEFS, and so on with other poor teams were right their with em'
