Man...might be a great pick-up when VB is back and healthy. WR corp will be pretty killer, although, I'm started to suspect Meachem and Royal aren't the right fits here. Philip clearly needs the big dudes to go up and get it, even though 12 and 11 are very talented WRs.

Although, if Chip Kelly comes in, might be perfect

I think Meachem and Royal just don't fit Norvs scheme and that's it. Norv doesn't use them properly. We could be using Royal in the slot so much more.

He is producing very well and playing big.

I hope he can stay healthy for us for as long as he can!

Royal cant stay healthy enough to be on the field. Dude gets injured so often.

The passes that Rivers has thrown to Alexander have not been jump balls. They have been balls that Meachem and Royal could have caught as well. It is Rivers' decision making, based on the play call, that he decided to throw to Alexander.

Gates can't bail him out all the time anymore like C. Johnson does for Stafford...which means we truly don't have a number one reciever anymore. Don't get me wrong I think Alexander is a sure keeper on this roster because he WANTS to make a play and has attitude like a defense player. The rest of our recievers are like choir boys. I think if anything Alexander is making Rivers look good but it's not because of his jumping ability.

Rivers has been on the mark to DA. Floyd a lot too, but he just looks a lot better with DA out there.
