As to the original subject -- I refuse to even think about factors out of our control -- like playoff spots can open up if xxx loses, or xxx beats yyy, or on this case, our opponent's injury report or suspension reports.

It wasn't the hit itself, he'd been fined a couple times already, so it was his history as well.

But it wasn't that bad.

Of course, I'm fully on board the Cottrell Conspiracy Train regardless. Clearly he has an ax to grind with the team that fired him and is just looking for ways to get back at the Chargers.

The whole NFL is one big conspirisy against the Chargers. It's the only plausible explaination for the Charger woes.

I knew when they fined him a game check, it would be reversed.

Suspended one game, due to his "history", maybe.

If they don't want heads to hit then why wear helmets? & if they are not wearing helmets then why wear pads? & if they are not wearing pads then why not wear shorts & tank tops? & if they are wearing shorts & tank tops then why not add a hoop?
