Agreed. Alexander is a beast and Brown may turn some heads. We need a tackle, guard (troutman?) CB, and pass rusher more than WR. That said I still think BPA is the way to go. If a great WR falls in the draft I wouldn't hesitate to stay true to my board and take him.

Meachem was always open if he was running the right route. Clearly the dude can burn, Philip can't get it there with a bullet anymore.

The WR corp is an interesting beast to think about. Alexander looks great, Floyd is great, VB looked to be on the verge of great, but as someone said, all injury prone or coming back from injury. I can see us switching the Offense to more quick slants if we keep Meachem and Eddie around. We're criminally using them wrong.

On the other hand, if Philip gets more time from not hearing Von Miller's feet closing in, perhaps he can get a bit more on the throw to wide-open fast dudes.

The only question is: what part of the team breaks down next year...

How do you say those two things? Meachem would get wide open about 2-3 times a game for either a big gain or would be TD...but then Rivers always underthrew him. The one time Rivers got the ball to him, he ended up dropping it.

I dont think its using him incorrectly, I think its more of Rivers not being able to get the ball to him deep consistently.

As for Royal, the guy cannot stay on the field. You cannot use someone correctly or incorrectly if they dont play.

Throw in a DB or 2 somewhere, either through the draft or free agency.

Alexander is turning some heads. He is playing great. I wouldn't mind if he signed an extension.

Danario seems by far our best WR. Big and physical, just like VJ was. If you extrapolate his stats in 5 games to 16, he roughly replaces VJ's production- 60 catches, 1000 yards, 9 TD's.

That would be great if he pulled that off... but as much of a great surprise as he has been here... he isn't the focus of defenses like Jackson.

Injuries mean he is a huge gamble though. So he needs a "when healthy" type contract.

SD will get him for a decent price next year. He'll be a Restricted Free Agent.
