I dont know, when O$U's on D, i've been mainly focused on Bradley Roby (I love this kid BTW, if he comes out he's easily my #1 CB). I'll try to look at Lewan, but i've been saying that i think that Fischer is my #1/2 OT for quite a while. Kid has extremely quick feet, is incredibly strong despite his size and blocks lower than his size would indicate. Kids going to be an excellent LT, elite in a ZBS IMO.

Another interesting guy who's played real well this season as a project type OT, is Eric Fragle from OSU, he's the RT #77. He's a real impressive run blocker, and as athletic as they come, another one of those converted TEs.

I'm with you JH. Lewan has some harsh critics. He got beat once in pass protection against Alabama and the report was that he was "DOMINATED." Against ND, he was once again beat only a single time in pass pro (Prince Shembo). There were a few plays that he mirrored and locked down his man for 6-8 seconds. Most of the time his man got into the backfield, it was only after Lewan had engaged for at least 4 seconds. There are technical flaws that need to be cleaned up, but he's only been playing on the offensive line for a couple seasons. He definitely has the feet for the position.

I'd love to see Fisher vs Tuitt and Shembo, but unfortunately that's not an option.

Yeah, he plays some really really tough competition and still is great. He's definitely my #2 T.

If Fisher is truly that good, then cool. I can't claim to have watched a bunch of Central Michigan games. But he'll have to look darn good for me to put him over Lewan, who has had some great performances against some of the best competition in the country.
