Think on this tho, in addition to the scenario you commented on, I would not rule out Indy at 8 - 8.

I think they're a good team, but they have to play the Texans x2, and @ Detroit. I would not be surprised at all if they drop all three. In fact, I expect them to lose those games.

One choke job vs Tenn or at KC dec 23, puts them at 8-8.

Not that it means much, the chargers have to actually win games to get back in the hunt...Just throwing this out as I think 9 loses is the mark Norv gets the Axe.

The point is, they are going to score, either 7 or 3. I would want enough time to come back. Playing for the tie is playing for defeat.
