I know he has it in him, last two games he had a perfect QB rating the first half, then came out the second half and looked like garbage. Something is in his head right now for sure.
Any NFL QB could have got us four straight playoff appearances. But under Norv and Rivers the team has gotten worse every single year.

But do we really have to have this discussion in THIS thread? There aren't enough threads about this already?

Seems like a lot of people forget about the problem with using a mobile QB, they tend to get hurt more often (Why did JC not finish last year?). When they start running, the QB protection rules do not apply any more. Protect the QB if you want long term success. With an Oline that can't open a hole big enough for a RB to go through, they are not going to keep the D far enough away to give a QB space to run unless he is running backwards.

The guy has had a lot of bad luck, being with teams that have rotating coaches and offensive coordinators. Last year, he was coming on strong with Oakland before getting hurt, leading them to get Palmer.

Campbell has a strong arm, he's smart, works hard, and is a hundred times more mobile than Rivers. We need a QB that can move. JC is that guy. Thoughts?
C'mon man...

yea lets go after cambell, build an offense around him, have a whole city and team and new coach on the edge of their seat to see what they can do.

then pull this play off, instead of sliding feet first. early int eh 2011 season.

the guy has not had bad luck, the guy is just a moron. he does nto play smart. he has ability, but we have yet to see it because of dumb bone head mistakes like the one you see here.

like when e said i wont play behind carson because i belive i am a starter in the league.

then went out and played behind cutler....??

This is utter nonsense.

I am starting to think some posters don't watch any other team besides SD. There are very few QB who can make some of the throws Rivers attempts and makes.

I'd take Alex Smith! If Cambell was any good we wouldn't see him on a different team every year, come on OP.
