The cupboard is not totally bare, but I agree the roster is just not that good. How many non-playoff seasons in a row is needed to show this?
Agreed. & sadly, I don't see this as a 1 Off Season fix. All 5 Olinemen can be improved. Both DBs. Another WR. Another Pass Rusher. A SS.

The Chargers are like that book, A tale of two cities, except in their case it's a tale of two halves. They just can't put a full game together so far and that goes to the feet of the HC. Outscored in the Baltimore game in the second half 16-3.

I think this video is a good example of bad coaching, whereas the 4th and 29 was mostly on the players. Although some of the fault is on the players, but calling that much coverage underneath and on the sidelines, but nothing 5-25 yards down the middle.

But wow, what a throw and catch. That was a play-off game too that the Eagles were eventually able to win.

just realized this is the 2nd year in a row we lost week 12 at home in our alternate jerseys to drop to 4-7 in a 16-13 overtime loss. thats a little weird.

I'm on my phone and haven't had a chance to read through; I was at the game and there was a HUGE fire Norv and AJ sign behind the net on the Ravens first Fg I think. Was that shown on tv?

Everyone talking about 4th and 29 and yes that's an insane thing to give up 29 yards on a dump off, hell even if it was only 28 yards they gave up as some have been saying it's still a pathetic effort. What about only scoring 13 points at home against a team that has been giving up an average of 19? The D has to take a huge amount of the blame but they did better against the Ravens this week than they did the week before when they gave up 30 points and everyone here was praising them. This offense is a mess, 3 for 15 on third down? Rivers sacked 6 times? We can talk about being banged up on the offensive side of the ball but it's not like the Ravens aren't missing starters on D but they still kept our broken offense in check long enough to let their own inconsistent offense wake up and score enough points to win.

I agree. This loss was on the offense.

Have the ball, have a lead, have 3 minutes to go --- 3 and out, punt.

13 points total. Not going to cut it.

+2

Offense is a joke. D has been pulling way more than their fair share of the weight lately. It was bound to break down and they did in the worst possible way.
