5 Day Test. Was the 2nd day today and the game is pretty much over. Versing South Africa so it's a good match. Australia got hammered today while batting, only got 100 something. SA is leading by like 300 already with only 1 or 2 out in their 2nd innings.

Currently watching the Wallabies verse Wales at Millennium Stadium so that's a bit more interesting.

Still 26 degrees and it's 2am. Sweating at 2am this is terrible weather for sleeping. Got most of my packing done tonight though.

Anquan Boldin fined nearly $8000 for "unnecessary roughness" on a "late hit". Can someone explain to me what on earth the NFL is thinking. Firstly it wasn't a late hit, it happened during the play and affected the outcome of the play. Secondly if the team which the illegal hit is performed against does not receive any compensation(Replay of down/yards taken away) why should the player even be fined. That may be one of the stupidest penalty system in pro sports.

Jay Cutler also fined $10000 for taunting.

Seriously though what does a fine do to stop a player from doing the same thing next time the opportunity arises. That illegal hit saved the game for them. The Chargers get nothing out of it, Boldin learns nothing from it and some charity gets some extra cash.
