VJ is probably the best example of a Norv developed player going elsewhere.

Sproles too, but he seems to be thriving more outside of Norv's system.

I think VJ was on his way up already, he was just a young player and his first year saw very little action because of nagging leg injuries.

They were players that were primed to get big anyway, same with Rivers. Too much credit is given to Norv.

Not really fair, he was obviously raw coming out of school. It's OK to give credit where credit is due.

We certainly crucify him when the players don't perform well, I don't see anything wrong with giving him some credit in developing some offensive talent.

It ok to check facts sometimes too. VJ had 6 TDs in 2006 his 2nd year out of a small school.

Its not like Norv came in , waved a magic wand, and he became good overnight. He was on his way up, and continued his ascent under Norv...

VJ obviously is naturally talented, I still think that Norv helped him develop into a top tier receiver.

Rivers has been both good and bad under Norv anyway.

If I was Norv or AJ I would be embarassed travelling around the San Diego area now after creating this mess and still keeping my position.
