Good call on Norv dialing up his "special reserve" game plans late in the year. Started with a handful against Cinci as you predicted, and today dialed it up throughout the game. As Phil Simms said today: "These are new plays that I haven't seen Norv Turner run in the last few years." Gee, we haven't seen them either, Phil.

Today was Exhibit 1 as to why Norv has hung around for as long as he has and why he needs to go. He has the ability to call a good game, but never does it on a weekly basis.

Acee just tweeted that Spanos gave a game ball to Norv for getting the franchise's first regular season win in Pittsburgh in their history.
