Kid has all world talent but man, that knee injury was probably worse than McGahee's, i shudder just from thinking about it.

Im sure someone will take a flier on him, if he' there in the later rounds, why not?

No reason not to invest a flier in him late if he's there and no one else that we particularly like is available.

I didn't see this coming at all. He's reached out to McGahee & medicine is much more advanced than when McGahee was injured so maybe that swayed his decision. I thought he'd want to prove himself again on the field before he entered though. One thing's for sure, this kid is a class act & he'll give you everything he's got. We've got a lot of holes other than running back, but if he's around in the 4th I'd grab him any way.

Makes sense for him to leave. Everyone knows how good ML is and staying and risking yet another injury with no money would not be smart.

I can see that side of it. He's just got to know that he's probably a 3rd Rounder at best this year. Another year may have pushed him back into the 1st Round. Not knocking his decision at all, because you're right. Another injury would be devastating.

3rd rounders still get paid, going back he was risking getting hurt again and getting nothing.

The second contract is where the money is at now anyways.
