We Shoulda Kept Brees

7 years later and this Drew Brees guy still comes up. Let it be known that Brees didn't do nothing until Rivers came in. Brees won a SB because he has a GM that knows how to build around him rather take away guys around him and let him do it on his own (ala AJ Smith). Plus, isn't Brees team 5-8 with all that weapon on offense and a below average defense and Rivers with a bad o-line, no name reciever and a solid defense. Complete opposite but the one thing that this 2 teams have in common is that both QBs is prone to turnovers.

i feel you i actually wanted Big Ben i am glad Brees has a ring so if we trade away Rivers maybe he can get one also. i hope we get a 1st rounder and a 2nd for Rivers, i wish our defense was stronger lol

i think we should of dump LT earlier and paid Micheal Turner and it was sad when McNeil got trash he should of got a Max contract i mean Hall of Famer it was an ugly break up
