AJ is like the anti-Beathard, who used to trade out of the first round for two of three lower round choices, mostly reaches from a Div. III school who never panned out; whereas AJ serves up two or three high draft choices for a reach in the first round. Either way, it's a bust...

The unfortunate part is that they are playing the Jets. The Jets have looked worse than the Chargers have for the last few games, even though the Jets won two of their last three games. They beat the Cardinals and Jaguars, but boy did it look ugly.

Whatever the case, the O-Line MUST be addressed. Jeez, we look like we have the Steelers' OL. Followed up by a new CB and safety. Then plug whatever holes we have left.

We have a lot of free agents and saddled with dead contracts we cannot move (meachum anyone...) we are going to need to address shortfalls in the draft

actually, last week didn't hurt us. beating pitt was huge for our teeny tiny playoff hopes. cinci winning didn't kill us because of the 3 way tie scenerios, in which we won them all. we were always banking on the ravens to win in week 17, so all that it changed was that pitt HAD to win the pitt/cinci game. we no longer had the luxury of that game going either way. but that's all in the past now!!

On the bright side now there's no stressing over other teams messing up the Chargers' playoff chances. The next few weeks are going to be great watching teams try to get into the postseason

I wouldn't mind moving out of a top 5-8 pick as long as we could secure a top OT and an additional early 2nd round pick. i think the rams pulled this off last year....
