Mathews isn't any kind of rated. He has literally no special skills except some straight line speed... which 10000 RB's have. I called it when we drafted Mathews he is a faster Tashard Choice. That's all he is. No lateral quickness, vision is sub-par, fumbles constantly, and is like a piece of tissue paper. It's not like he is undersized and yet at 210 pounds he breaks his other shoulder after 4 carries. You can call it unfortunate, I call it tissue paper. Time to draft a new RB.

Looks like another great AJ move. In all fairness he WAS he best pure running back in he draft and I really loved the pick.

The team doesn't run the ball enough, period, and it's running it even less in scoring position. Touchdowns require opportunity.

Count me in the camp that would have kept Michael Turner (or Sproles in a slot/receiving back role), but I think Turner especially would be having a horrible season here this year.

EDIT: To wit, players with more than 4 or more TDs rushing this year --

Shonn Greene
Beanie Wells (2.8ypc and 231 total yards)
Mike Tolbert (39 total carries)

No one who's far and away more talented than what the Chargers have (or more productive from a pure numbers angle). So is the deficiency in the Chargers players, or the situations and play calls?

That's it. I am hiring a few select CMB memebers to be apart of the Chargers Organization. The one with the most hindsight will be the GM, the one that coached their kid's little league football games will replace Norv and we have psuedo which is going to be our new running back. God speed psuedo.
