You are actually writing something condescending when your ultimate point is that "Rivers is the way to go at this point" ??? That's seriously, seriously, rich.

Anyone who is riding Rivers jock right now acting like he's some elite QB hasn't been watching the last 2 seasons. Too many fumbles, too many int's, not mobile enough to avoid the rush, doesn't have great arm strength, has a hard time hitting WR's under 6'5" unless it was Sproles in the flat.
Matt Flynn is good. If he were to only take better care of the football, we'd be better off. Btw....I already know it isn't going to happen, not even debating that. I'm just saying he is more mobile, has a better arm, and can't be much more inaccurate. Turning the ball over is killing this team, and Rivers need only look into the mirror to find the guy who has had the most turnovers in the NFL over the last 2 seasons. I'm fine if he follows Norv and AJ right out of town.

I don't know about that. The way RGIII runs, I'd bet that the Redskins are really interested in keeping Cousins around for those times that RGIII goes down (and it's almost a given that there will be those times, given RGIII's style).

Rivers has his flaws, but also remember that Flynn has yet to even play this year. Would I take Flynn over Rivers? Yea. But I don't think Flynn is as good as your making him out to be. |

I agree with this, but it really depends on what the Redskins are asking for. I think they'd most definitely ask for more than a third and if so, I would be very hesitant about making that trade. But my point is that if we were to trade for anyone (something I don't want to do given that I still have faith Rivers would improve drastically behind a better offensive line) my number one choice is Kirk Cousins.
