He's obviously a great athlete. I think he can play RT or LT which is critical for us since Gaither may or may not show up next year. Mathews might be a great RT but I don't think we can swing him over if/when Gaither is taking his ice bath.

I'll take Fisher if we pick anywhere from 10-13. Over Lewan, over Matthews, over Ansah, Warmack, any DT, any DB, any offensive skill player. I want Fisher, or a stud pass rusher at WOLB.

He seems like the poor man's Lewan to me, but what do I know. I only start watching college players after the Bolts are out of the playoff hunt.

Probably the same thing. Alexander just took over the role of VJ for half the season. VJ can't fix poor pass and run blocking and bad decision making.

They aren't very similar players at all.

Fisher is extremely smooth, quick feet, great technique, a little light and his weakness is driving blocking in the run game, although he is great at pulling.

Lewan has quick feet but much more choppy, bad, bad, bad technique, great strength, mauler, and his weakness is technique in pass pro.

Fisher gets a Top 15 grade from me, Lewan a Top 25.

either you base players soley on their height weight or you've never watched either of them play, or both i guess, because they're lightyears apart as players.

Lewan has IMO the best physical ability by a good margin. better than Joeckel, WAY better than Fisher. Technique can be taught. he is my pick if we go OL as with the win today there is no chance we get Joeckel.
