Suspend him? Fine. I'd take his case in a second for Misrepresentation. Let alone constructive termination. See what's what, and all. Since you I think are of the same profession, maybe we could share a well?

I agree they did him wrong and misrepresented what his role would be but he must have not shown them much. I'm sure they wanted to use him more and thought they would but just didnt see it once he was there. I can't see a player winning a case for not getting playing time. Who's next Alex Smith?

Nope. AS got opportunities. They judged him wrong, IMHO, but he got opportunities. Tebow never got one, despite the promises, and despite the fact that the guy he was supposed to back up and/or fight for the position with got benched.

I'd be comfortable arguing puni's for malice. Probably not a winner, but I'd sure as heck be comfortable arguing it along with the misrep.

Of course, the promises are only what we've heard in the media. It sure sounds like they were made -- but of course the evidence might not make that so clear cut.

Tebow isn't entitled to anything, he isn't playing because he was outplayed in practice by both Sanchez and McElroy and he isn't in their future plans.

The Jets are a mess, but they don't owe him a damn thing.
