So the wife wanted cantaloupe for breakfast this morning. Sounded good, so I didn't mind running into town.

I was at the local Associated Grocers store, and saw this gal wearing a Charger shirt. Walked over and told her I had to shake her hand, because of her shirt. We chatted for a minute, and the guy who is with her in this picture is Jeffren Pei.

Turns out, he's a friend of Alfred Pupunu. He says Alfred is coaching football for SUU down in Cedar City. How cool is that?



Had to check it out ... and sure enough. Alfred is the assistant head coach, and the running backs coach.

Met this Charger fan in Walmart today. Her name is Annette, and she's from Carlsbad.

Wow, there must be a ton of Chargers fans up there near Richfield. I hardly ever see any in St. George (or Cedar when I lived there).

I thought you knew..... Tom just hangs out in Walmart all day with a trash bag full of used Charger gear. He asks everyone who comes into Walmart to put on a hat or sweatshirt so he can take a picture of them. He doesn't have a ton of success, but when you're willing to spend 10+ hrs a day wandering Walmart, occasionally you get lucky.
