Sunday’s game will be Quentin Jammer’s 172nd as a Charger, breaking a tie with Doug Wilkerson for fourth-most in franchise history. Among position players, only Junior Seau and Dan Fouts have played more games as Chargers. In 2006, three seasons after the Chargers made him the fifth overall pick in 2002 and two years before his rookie deal was due to expire, Jammer signed a contract extension that ran through 2012. It was the type of deal that both sides could consider a win, giving Jammer long-term financial security but at a reasonable price to the team. The result has been a constancy rarely rivaled. Of course, no current Charger can match Jammer’s 11 seasons with the team.

I hope he stays to play here even if his role is reduced.

This is exactly how I feel. His interception today was awesome. He definitely seems to have lost a step, but IMO he's still better than Cason, whose heart doesn't seem to be in the game. One thing no one can ever say about Jammer is that he didn't play with all his heart.

^^^ I also hope Jammer comes back. He looked really down during the post game interview...

Jammer has had a real fine run in S.D. he has been under rated league wide for some time. His run support was 2nd to no one.
Thanks Q.J. |

Im going to miss him if he leaves. His agression and willingness to hit is rare for corners now a days. It was really pathetic watching Cason trying to tackle McFadden yesterday
