It's interesting that Tannenbaum last year and A.J. Smith this year were willing to dip into the free agent pool to fill what they perceived to be needs.

This thread contrasted general managers Mike Tannenbaum of the Jets and A.J. Smith of the Chargers.
They shared a similarity. Both teams have been backsliding in recent years. As of today, neither A. J. Smith nor Mike Tannenbaum has kept his job. It will be interesting to see if they move on to other NFL teams. |
