Pete Carroll is 61...was away from a NFL coaching gig for a long while.

I am a huge Holmgren fan... the GM interaction would be the only issue

Good to know. As long as people are comfortable with it, I don't see it being a problem.

Yeah exactly he has been out way too long and you usually dont succeed after being out that long

I think you mistake Holmgren's portly appearance as either jolly or lethargic...neither is true.

Mike Holmgren is one of the most intense coaches period.

Age is irrelevant IMO... Obviously I'm on the Holmgren bandwagon. He'd be a great asset for any young GM. He makes so much sense for this franchise its not even a question.

Holmgren or Gruden and we'd be on the right track. Anybody else and its same ol' Chargers IMO.
