I cannot even recognize TCU campus anymore since all the additions coming from BCS games. All the wonderful things happening at TCU academically have a lot to do with the success of the football program |

He's got it pretty good already at Oregon. The thing is that only bad NFL teams are going to make a huge guaranteed offer to a college coach. These teams are typically big rebuilding projects, whereas Oregon is not only a program with momentum but one with a unique brand and big pockets behind it. He is in control of his own success through recruiting. I think at one point he will probably take an NFL job, but really it depends on individual preferences and personality.
For every Jim Harbaugh there are probably 4 Steve Spurriers. Last edited by Crime Time; 01-07-2013 at 11:58 AM.. |

Good, at least he'll have to face the crippling NCAA sanctions like a man instead of leaving his program holding the bag.

I'm a Duck, proud of it. Sanctions or no, Oregon will be very good for years to come. Chip Kelly is a great recruiter, and Oregon btw, was not the only school to do what they did.
I wasn't shocked at all that Kelly is staying, the AD at Oregon said after the Fiesta Bowl that they would do everything they could to keep him. To be honest, the Browns, Eagles, Cardinals, and Bills, are NOT a step up from a very prestigeous college football program. Oh, and the reason he's given a section is because nobody would leave him alone. He's very popular, as you might imagine.

I love watching Oregon, they are basically my adopted team (until UCLA can challenge them for a Pac 12 or national title...)
