Personally, I like the guy.

He has a good football pedigree, having worked his way up the ladder from the ground. Everyone from the Colts has nothing but good things to say about him.

I think Spanos got it right.

I'm glad they went outside for the GM. Feel bad for Jimmy Raye- he certainly worked his way up the ladder, but he'll land on his feet and looks to be in the running for the NYJ job.

I think some fresh perspective is what's needed on things like personnel, staff (trainers, strength/conditioning), etc.
