We've got to think package deal on coaches

Guys, everyone is pimping for their head coach, but are we considering what kind of staff each of our candidates would bring to the table?
I don't want another HC who also is the OC. I wouldn't mind Pagano staying as our DC and would feel comfortable with a HC who is offensively minded.
Does this change anyone's mind about who they want for a HC?

The defensive staff is likely staying as is.

I brought up Mularkey because of his relationship to my HC of choice, Whisenhunt. If we went that route, we could likely have both here.

HC- Whisenhunt
OC- Mularkey
DC- Pagano

That's a very strong staff IMO.

Norv is one of the best play callers in the NFL. When ALL he has to do is focus on his offense, he does great.

I would love that staff. Our offense would immediately get much better, and our young D would continue to grow under Pags.

Wanted Chip Kelly originally or Shaw from Stanford. They are out.

I like the idea of Roman/Pagano, if not, Fewell, the DC from the Giants.

That is a HECK of a staff if you ask me. I don't care what people say about Whisenhunt. He is a good coach IMO and one of my top choices.

Chip Kelly would have been a disaster.

Love Shaw, but he hasn't expressed the least bit of interest in an NFL HC job.

Why Roman? Why..Especially why, Fewell? What have these guys proved as leaders?

You are standing strong on the 'no retread' stance, but are willing to jump in blindly with a coordinator with no head coaching experience. It's a TOTAL crap shoot when hiring a first time HC.
