IMO we need to go after a Left Tackle in free agnecy. I like Joekel but he will not be around when we pick. Warmack in the first sounds good to me.

They need to start investing in veteran players. they will teach the young players. it may seem risky due to money, but in the long run, it will be better. stop bringing in players that are done. as in Sanders, Bennet, ect... its like a curse to San Diego. San Diego doesnt really have any "known" players. other than 3 or 4, that aren't really making plays right now. Dont get rid of them, but build around them.
The Chargers are not interested in Jon Gruden nor Bill Cohwer or even Mike Holmgren. Those were all rumors just like when ''NFL sources'' thought SD was interested in Reid that was never true according to Acee. I don't think Dean have to make up for what he did to Marty just because he went 14-2 and got fired. Dean already wipe the slate clean.

Oftentimes, NFL coordinators bring players with them from their old team when promoted. I would hazard a guess that we could well see some Broncos offensive personnel heading our way. Here's a list of the guys with expiring contracts that could help us.

1. Ryan Clady, OT- This is an obvious one, and also a very unlikely one. First, they would have to let him hit the market (which they would be stupid to do given that keeping Manning upright is the #1 priority). Secondly he would be very expensive and I'm not sure we could afford it. All that said, it would be a great way to address our biggest need.

2. Dan Koppen, C- Koppen is still a pretty darn good starting center. He was actually an upgrade when Walton went down and would be one here too.

That actually pretty much sums it up...

Clady can definitely be had for the right price, but I don't think we could afford it. Clady will want Joe Thomas money. He would be the perfect acquisition: fill our #1 need and hurt a division rival.

i know we got big money in weddle already but what would jarius byrd do for this secondary. weddle and byrd in the same secondary would be scary.

andy levitre og would be a huge get along the line will cost a little bit of coin but in free agency i think the safest money is on the oline

If they don't sign them before FA, the Bills will probably franchise one of these two...probably Byrd from what I've heard.

Very true, but won't happen. Byrd's contract will likely top Weddle's. So we'd be talking about roughly 16M/season tied up in safeties.

If TT and MM can pull this off, it would be monumental in weakening denver and filling arguably our biggest need. Almost as big as getting mccoy himself, same principle.

Paul Kruger has impressed in the playoffs, would love to see him in an SD jersey.
