I'm against taking any DL unless they are blue chip talents, and I only see one blue chip 3-4 DL in this draft, Star. I'd rather take Banks or Milliner over Hankins. Hell, I'd take Jarvis Jones over Jonathan Hankins.

I guess what I'm trying to figure out is where Johnson grades out. If he's not worth #11 then perhaps an option would be to trade down grab him later (risk there) and pick up an extra pick or two.

Suppose it's between Johnson and Hankins. You think Hankins grades out that much better pick?

Hankins was garbage in 2012. In any given game, he is probably the most talented player on the field, but he typically looks like a JAG. Mostly blocked out of plays by one guy. Eight or nine of the guys you listed are likely to be gone by the time we pick. I'd take some of those guys as well, but don't think we'll get that opportunity. But by listing Banks and Jordan I now know where Johnson stands.

I listed 11 . The point being, there is no possible way we could be in a position where Hankins or Johnson are the guys I would take unless we traded down.
