I wouldn't want to move up to #1. It would cost us a King's Ransom. I doubt the Chiefs trade down. They're in position to take who they want.

The trade value is astronomical. Our 1st and 2nd this year AND next year at least.

If I were the Chiefs I'd most certainly want to trade down. The top blue chippers this year are not the positions they need. Their problem is finding a partner. If the top guy is not a Qb it becomes a difficult proposition. If he were a Qb the Chiefs would take him, they may take G. Smith anyway because the alternative may not make sense for them.

KC will probably posture like they're going to take a player other teams behind them covet (Lotulelei, Werner, Joeckel), thereby trying to scare another team into trading up. That's basically what the Vikings did to the Browns last year.

We definitely won't bite, and I hope no one else does. Call their bluff and watch them draft Geno.

Or if they don't re-sign Albert... maybe PHI becomes a willing trade partner to get Joeckel. Then, heaven-forbid, KC sets their sights on Fisher.

Only if they think Fisher is acceptable at #4. I might do that as I don't think Joeckel is "head and shoulders" above Fisher.

My guess is that if KC's scouts don't see a significant drop off, then neither do Philly's and they both stay put.
