Default Time to listen to offers for Gates?

I am a huge fan of Gates, but there has been a steady decline on his production since '09. In 2012 was his lowest numbers since his rookie year...
32 yrs old ..
10 year experience...

SEASON..GP..REC..YDS...TD
2003......15...24....389....2
2004......15...81....964....13
2005......15...89...1,101..10
2006......16...71....924....9
2007......16...75....984....9
2008......16...60....704....8
2009......16...79...1,157..8
2010......10...50....782...10
2011......13...64....778....7
2012......15...49....538....7

Contract:
2013: $4.5 Mil ($2.4 Mil guaranteed)
2014: $5 Mil
2015: $5.9 Mil
2016: Free Agent

Regardless of our poor execution on offense/OL of recent years, he seems to have a hardier time to get open (maybe age/lingering injury/scheme/etc)...

It might be worth listening to offers to see what we can get for this future HOF under this new and young regime.

What you think we can get? or too soon to consider to move him?

No, he's one that deserves to retire here.

I'd listen, but it would have to be a sweet deal to pull the trigger otherwise im fine keeping Gates until he retires.

I think we should listen. I wouldn't give him up for anything less than a 2nd rounder, but no one's gonna pay that.

This is the NFL and not the NBA. What would we get? A draft pick? So basicaly trade a sure thing for a mid round draft pick shot in the dark. Doesn't make sense.

Not unless we have a replacement on the roster. Green if he develops into what we think he is may be a candidate. But it's too soon to say.
So no.

We won't get much for him.

Plus he deserves to retire a Charger.

Agreed.
Plus, lets see what our ne HC and OC can do with him after installing a new offensive line for Rivers.
But, on a side note, I would like to see Green developed more.
