Time to listen to offers for Gates?

I am a huge fan of Gates, but there has been a steady decline on his production since '09. In 2012 was his lowest numbers since his rookie year...

10 year experience...

Regardless of our poor execution on offense/OL of recent years, he seems to have a hardier time to get open (maybe age/lingering injury/scheme/etc)...

It might be worth listening to offers to see what we can get for this future HOF under this new and young regime.

I'd listen, but it would have to be a sweet deal to pull the trigger otherwise im fine keeping Gates until he retires.

I think we should listen. I wouldn't give him up for anything less than a 2nd rounder, but no one's gonna pay that.

This is the NFL and not the NBA. What would we get? A draft pick? So basicaly trade a sure thing for a mid round draft pick shot in the dark. Doesn't make sense.

Not unless we have a replacement on the roster. Green if he develops into what we think he is may be a candidate. But it's too soon to say.

Plus, lets see what our ne HC and OC can do with him after installing a new offensive line for Rivers.
But, on a side note, I would like to see Green developed more.
