I think that they will wait until the lease buyout goes into the zero dollar range before leaving. No offense, but there will be no economic recovery under the current Presidential administration. So that bodes ill for stadium building anywhere much before 2017; the Qualcomm lease runs out in 2020.

They'll be in L.A. eventually, no stadium is being built with public funds in San Diego anytime soon.

L.A. has more money, eventually someone will build a stadium there.
Spanos will have to be the one who builds it here. |

No shovel hits the ground in LA until they have an NFL team. The plan was to do it with mostly private money. But lots of issues there. Complicated further now because Anshultz (spelling) is selling the company that was going to build the stadium.
