Truth is the Raiders practiced running the ball all week. Then during the game they passed it and all but skipped the running game. Whether Callahan actually announced a change in the game plan is anyone's guess. But the plan clearly did change. It's also true that the Bucs knew the Raiders terminnology as Callahan didn't change it.
However all this proves is that Callahan is a bad HC, which many people knew already. I don't buy that he threw the SB, no matter how much he hated the Raiders. |

10 years from now, Rivers is going to come out and say that Norv threw last season to get away from AJ Smith and the San Diego fan base.

I don't know what his reason is, but Rice was a co-host on Sirius NFL Radio for about a year, and listening to him was like a bad trip to the dentist. Dude is dumb as a bocks of rox.

that is a legit opinion. saying he threw the game is just plain stupid. if he wins that game he is set for life as a coach. he is going to give away the ultimate prize in football for his buddy? Brown is pulling a Teo here, please stop...............

Because Jerry Rice, HOFer & best WR to ever play the game, was the first to admit that Norv Turner is an awful HC and one of the worst in history of football.

Frank Middleton
Former Raiders offensive lineman Frank Middleton said in a phone interview that he didn't believe Callahan's change in game plan contributed to Robbins' problems or that Callahan purposely lost the game even if there were bad feelings between the coach and players. "Callahan hated us," Middleton said. "He didn't want to see a lot of us succeed because of who we were. I do believe Callahan had bad feelings against us. But to say he threw the game, I can't say that." Middleton acknowledged that the plan the team used in the game was different than what was practiced but said he didn't know if that was because Robbins had left the team and the Raiders were forced to use backup center Adam Treu. http://hosted.stats.com/fb/story.asp...f=hea&tm=&src=
