Maybe the Jets are so desperate for WR help that we'd be able to swindle them for Meachem plus a draft pick? It would be just a little more money and if he doesn't return to form, we let him walk. Maybe even Meachem and Gilchrist?

I know, it would be highway robbery. But if they're desperate to fix their cap situation, they would get a speedy WR who has shown some promise (who can be cut next year if need be) and a young CB who was a 2nd rounder just a couple years ago.

I don't need to read the article, saying they'd be willing to pay almost the same for a WR who played like crap and an average nickelback for a top player is ridiculous. If you want Revis, you're coughing up serious picks and players, not crap. The only reason they'd trade him is to reload on picks because they're not going to be able to pay the 60+ million he'll want.

Dude, so which way are you debating this? You lololololol'd like a teenaged girl about the injury thing. Never my point about his availability. They're working on their cap issues. Teams do crazy things to fix their cap problems.

Revis is due 6 million, Meachem 5....... Basically, you're saying one million dollars is worth going from top 10 player to a guy who played like a bottom ten receiver. Never mind the fact that they can clear space many other ways such as cutting Bart Scott or any player who sucks on that team, which is a fair amount of them.

They'd trade Revis only if you offered the farm, not just some throwaway players. The point is that some team will be enticed by 6 million dollars for one year of one of the best players, and then they'll have to give up numerous top picks or young players on cheap contracts to get him.
