Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive end Da'Quan Bowers has been arrested for carrying a gun at an airport, according to NBCNewYork.com.

Bowers was reportedly arrested at LaGuardia Airport in New York on Monday morning after police discovered he was illegally carrying a loaded .40 caliber handgun in his carry-on luggage while at the check-in counter. He was reportedly scheduled to be on a US Airways flight to Raleigh, N.C.

Authorities say a Tennessee Titans tight end has been arrested in a roll-over drunken driving crash in eastern Georgia.

A Lincoln County Sheriff's report says 23-year-old Brandon Barden lost control of a truck carrying two other passengers on Feb. 23 and crashed into a ditch in Lincolnton - about 35 miles northwest of Augusta. The report says the truck flipped and landed on its side.

Deputies say they spoke with Barden after the accident and smelled a strong odor of alcohol. They said Barden refused to do a sobriety test and was taken to the sheriff's office, where he again refused to take a sobriety test.

Barden lives in Lincolnton and played for Vanderbilt University. He was drafted in 2012.

He was charged with DUI and failure to maintain lane.

Those single-auto accidents *never* raise any eyebrows. Especially when you refuse sobriety tests afterwards.

Denver Broncos safety Quinton Carter is facing felony charges in Nevada alleging that he cheated at a craps game last weekend at a Las Vegas-area casino, authorities said Thursday.

Carter, 24, was arrested late Saturday at the Texas Station casino in North Las Vegas. Security officials reported he was videotaped adding a $5 chip to three bets after the dice already rolled, according to a police report. Carter denied wrongdoing when police arrived.

Carter faces three counts of committing a fraudulent act in a gaming establishment, a felony in Nevada that carries a possible sentence of one to six years in prison and a $10,000 fine. He provided a North Las Vegas address when he was booked at the Clark County jail in Las Vegas and released with a Monday court date.

Carter also faces a warrant charging him with failure to complete counseling after pleading guilty in a 2011 misdemeanor marijuana possession case, according to court records.

Carter posted a message on his Twitter account saying he was ''truly sorry for any negative attention this has brought to the Broncos, our fans and the league.'' He said he was confident he will be cleared.
