I agree. Except we probably can't "run" him out of town. Walk? Tow?

Has anybody posted about the contract Gaither has w/ San Diego?? I heard Hacksaw say on the radio that AJ really "hosed us" with that deal and we cant just let him walk in 2013... Any news? Anyone??

According to Acee the base salary isn't guaranteed despite all the reports saying that is was when he signed originally.

wont cost the chargers a dime to cut him, teams get 120 million from TV revenues... so just absorb this unfortunate situation.

as for the cap, yeah that will happen, but as I said, who cares?

there are bums on every team, every year.

desperate times mean desperate decisions, this was one of them, and it will be behind us come March 12.

Go back and read the rest of the thread. There is a post here that explains the 13.5m "guarantee". In short, if they cut him before the season starts he is only guaranteed 9m.
