None of this shocks me, And far as KC if they didn't have the worst QB in the NFL they would be contenders for division.

But I believe it starts with the head coach. We’ve seen the decision-making, we’ve seen the turnovers, we’ve seen that this team has been up 24-0 and end up losing. That’s coaching, fella, ok? That’s coaching. I’ve played on four freaking Super Bowl teams. Four Super Bowl teams! I know the difference between being well prepared and not being well prepared." |

I would vote us last, too. Not that I think KC or (especially) Oakland will be going to the Super Bowl anytime soon, but I doubt the Chargers will either. Well, maybe us ahead of the Raiders, but I wouldn't put any money on it.
KC actually has real good talent on their team, they just need a better coach, QB, and no injury to Charles. |

I think we're up to 19%, but still bringing up the rear. No real surprise since we have an entirely new coaching staff and GM. On paper, you would think that KC would finish higher, as would Oakland. QB position is the key. As long as Manning is in Denver, they should be ranked number 1.... at least until someone beats them repeatedly. They are good without Manning, but he puts them into the championship category.
Can't see us taking over the #1 position in just one off-season with this coaching crew, but we should see improvement. It'll take a little while to fill in all the holes that exist and establish an effective Offensive line. |

Prior to the 2012 season, many so-called experts at ESPN had Kansas City winning the AFC West. So don't bet your kids college money on any of their predictions.

Huh? No they won't. Is anyone expecting Brock Osweiler to be anything other than a stiff?

As much as Denver gets the #1 nod for the Manning factor.I predict it willbe Denver's fall for next season.I saw a VERY tired and old Manning against Balt. and in the Probowl. If 2 of the 3 teams in this division can be more competative next season. We willnot see Manning own this division.
KC w/ Reid and a QB willbe HUGE trouble for everyone in the AFCW.If the Chargers can get some help offensively, they too will push on Denver. I don't see us winning the division but w/ replacing Meeks and keeping Pags.I truely beleive Manning will age much faster next season than last. |

all we need is an O'line, decent pass rushing, and some new D'backs and we are in the hunt again... we have owned Manning in the past and will again. AFC West is ours for the taking, and with a new GM and HC the post season results should be vastly different...GO BOLTS!!!

i like this premise..... Next year's SB team comes from the AFC West....
Why? because i think we will be able to compete with Denver and "Give them a run for their money".
