In reality, Hardwick really only had two or three SOLID NFL seasons (2006 to 2008). I've NEVER been a fan of his, but I do respect that AJ needed to keep him for 2012. He is below average and Molk should be his replacement (maybe this year if Molk does well in the preseason).
REMEMBER before Hardwick, San Diego had great success in finding CENTERS. I was a HUGE JASON BALL fan, but he was a knuckle head with some contract negotiations (and found himself out of the league, considered a headache type of player - or he had a bad agent). I really thought that Tyronne Green should've been the center last year, but he took a few steps backwards last season (probably only because he had to help his left tackle too much). T.Green should be resigned too...

"your boy" #3) Menelik Watson, Florida State, OT just got rated higher than Lane Johnson by Prisco...
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/s...nd-only-one-qb a really decent o-line draft...

Out of all the popular draft analysts, I respect Pete Prisco's opinion the most. But wow, no Damontre Moore in his top 32?

Take a quality rookie. Look at Ryan Clady and Jake long. Who else? I know there's more. They came in and played excellent.
I say we gear up in the draft. |

Uh oh... I watched that link, it didn't talk about Lane or Menelik. Menelik Watson projects to be a Right Tackle though, but he's a BIG basket-baller with quick feet and may be a Left Tackle within a couple of years. I think he could be a back up LT to Gaither in 2013 (or start him at RT). I think Lane Johnson will be a good LT, but man, he's only had ONE year of experiance (and another at RT). Two years, two OL postions (formery a QB and TE). He's done 4 positions in FOUR YEARS (jack of all trades, master of none???)

Well, I don't live in San Diego, so no paper for me. And who actually pays for a website subscriptions? They should make their money on the pop-up advertisements... Terrible idea for an information outlet.
