Does anyone happen to have an extra unsigned Tony Gwynn game model blonde Louisville Slugger bat you'd be willing to part with? Feel free to PM me if you do, or email me at loumud@yahoo.com!

Not a bad showing at the Gwynn signing...good to see all the "regulars" again!

I got x2 16x20 canvas prints and a FS base signed.
My son got x3 cards.

I also stopped by the Tony Gwynn appearance. He seemed to do two or three per person. I put down three cards in front of him, just like someone before me, but he only signed two of the three (I'm not complaining). For some reason he skipped the rookie card. This happened to the person in front of me as well (signed 3 of 4 skipping the rookie card). I'm not sure if this is a new thing or not with skipping the rookie card. Time will tell.

Tony Gwynn 2/3, 1/1 (daughter's card)

Default TGSr.

Here's 1 of 2 things that I got signed. My other photo didnt come out too good due to his silver sharpie and placement of signature.

Look for some advice on what is the best way to get a solid autograph on a black wood bat.

I would think silver sharpie would come out pretty bad.

I was thinking paint pen, but was wondering what you guys thought.

Also, if paint pen is the preferred option, which kind is best and where to get it.

All help is appreciated, thanks!!

Wow, those look great!!!

Is the top middle bat and the batting gloves Scott Hairston?

He's actually one of the guys I'm trying to track down to sign a game used broken bat I have.

He's on the Cubs now. I'm trying to get out to Arizona next Friday, any strategy for getting an auto when a split squad game is going on? Or will the team have practice at the home complex before the game?
