Yea he's a free agent. He's only 28 so he's got some good years left ahead of him. Statistically his 2011 numbers were way better than last years but what I like about Barnes is his presence on the field, with his pass run ability and pressure on the QB I think he can potentially be one of the better OLB in the league when healthy.

Barnes has been our best pass rusher since midway thru the '10 season when we signed him as a free agent. He had double digit sacks in '11 playing a reserve role. He was hurt this year - not himself. I'd bring him back and sign Anthony Spencer from the cowboys.

I like the Spencer idea. I think alot of his success is due to having D Ware lining up on the other side. I'd like to see Spencer and Phillips but not sure if we could afford that

I think Ingram will get a chance to shine and we definitely must shore up the offensive line. Philip looks like an average qb with the current unit.

Long time lurker on the CMB, anyways just wondering but why not try Larry English at ILB? Seems like he's a mediocre OLB, could be a surprise at ILB.

Melvin Ingram would prove to be better at both OLB and ILB positions and is as good if not better in STs.
