Saw a couple of good shows in the last couple of days.

First one was "End of Watch", about a couple of LAPD cops. Pretty good for a cop flick. Tragic ending, tho.

*** out of *****

Second was "Flight" with Denzel. What an amazing movie. I'll be using this one at work. Denzel should win an Oscar for his performance as Whip Whitaker. Epic. Some of the computer generated animation was a but cheesy, but an entertaining flick with a powerful message.

Umm . . . excuse me . . . did you just ruin the ending of End of Watch for me?

Post reported. Looks like another suspension is in the works.

Didn't say what kind of tragedy.

Just watch it, slacker.

I haven't seen Flight yet but i've seen End Of Watch. Excellent movie. I'd give it a 4 out of 5. Does a good job of getting you attached to the characters and families around them. Also shows why some LA cops have to act the way they deal considering all the crap they have to deal with. I think it has the second most amount of swear words ever. Not sure on that but i know it's up there.

I saw Silver Lining Playbook last week. I really liked that movie. The silver lining thing ended up being really cool and i liked how that theme was kept throughout the whole movie. Trying to find the good in the worst of situations. You guys should definitely go watch it.

Tom Hardy is a good actor. Don't think i've seen any movies he's been in which i have not liked yet. RockNRolla, Inception, Warrior, Batman, all movies i've liked.

I really liked Argo. I have to give a nod to directing, when I know how it's going to end, but nevertheless am still on the edge of my seat for the last 10 minutes.

It won the Oscar for Best Picture but Affleck wasn't even nominated for Best Director

I saw that. He must have burned some bridges big time for the picture to win, and for him not even to be nominated for the director award.

In his acceptance speech he even said "you can't hold grudges in this town." He even repeated it, if I remember correctly.

Perks of Being a Wallflower was a pretty good movie, just saw it now. Awesome storyline.

It was directed by the book's author so that's cool.

Just watched "Here Comes The Boom" with Kevin James.

Laughed the entire show. Good old fashioned comedy, with a good story as well.
