I would let go, Flowers, Dunlop, Fluker, Franklin. I would also ask gates to take less money. All other second tiered players shoul be making less than 2 mil each to stay.
MI needs to be signed to long term contract, because BOSA WILL PROBABLE ASK FOR ONE OF THE BIGGEST CONTRACTS BEFORE HIS ROOKIE CONTRACT IS DONE. ITS THE BOSA WAY OR THE HWY TO NEW TEAM. Which will be big loss for Chargers.

Also cutting Stevie Johnson, stucky, mabane save us $10 mil cap savings

It is all fine and dandy to 'let go' any of the players you mentioned, might even be wise, but it is imperative that there is a solid plan for replacement before any implementation of 'letting go' occurs.

Bosa will be expensive, if he stays healthy and plays well, but not before his current contract ends. To be a hold out would be unwise.

Not knowing the numbers MI is seeking, long term is best, but tagging is always an option.

check out the stats on or run D when Mebane was in there----> I'm pretty sure we went from 29th last year to 5th when he was in. NBD. Mebane can stay. Gates should take a fat cut, Teo can go, Ingram should stay unless we drafted an equal or upgrade. If we can land another Slausen in FA that would be huge. I know they didnt win, but Alex Mack did wonders for that ATL line, too. We need another Vet that can come in right away and perform than draft 1-2 guys around him. oh and Fluker can walk too.

Bump.

One of the easier choices done. Fluker out.

A tougher one being talked about. Stevie Johnson a goner?

These decisions are not just the Bolts, but are league wide. It is time for all teams to do their roster cleaning prior to opening for business in the leagues new year.

Stevie, Flowers, Fluker all released. Wonder what the cap# is now, and moreso how it is used to make us better.

Looks like right at 23M. I think it's time to let Stuckey go and clear another couple mil (the youngins have done pretty well on ST).
