I think your question has been answered, with this very thread. Yes it is possible !

This thread was moved to a different forum, as opposed to being merged.

As an addition, there is a "take me to where I last left off" button next to every thread title. It's the one that looks like this:

It will instantly take you to the first new post since the last time you looked at a thread. Between that and the "New Posts" along the top of the page, you can find the latest stuff with ease - no need to wade through anything, or be concerned with what sub forum a thread is in.

As an FYI - at least for myself, if someone does what you described and I see it, I delete their post and close the thread... We don't necessarily catch it every single time - but if you feel strongly about one being bumped "needlessly" or to "gloat", then report the post in question using the report post button that is at the top right of each post. Same thing goes for spammers, trolls from other teams, etc.

It's a great day to be a Chargers fan!
I would expect to be able to have reasonable, spirited discussion about our must win game at KC tonight and on Thursday morning. The mods are doing a great job. They should also expect their ideas to be subjected to critical thinking and to be challenged.

BTW there was a perfect opportunity for people who have been here for a while to express some mod love on the occasion of CMB's 10th Anniversary. Nada. Let me say now, as a relative newbie, thank you mods for this tremendous outlet, and Happy Holidays to you and your families.

I remember a couple of years ago when the mods made a push that all new threads have titles that give the prospective "clickers" at least SOME clue as to what the subject matter was.

Please do that again, mods. "Is it possible" is as nebulous as it can be -- and the "reward" was definitely not worth the click.

Some of the thread merging is ridiculous. I mean we have threads merged with topics that don't even relate with another.

Tell me about it. It can be a very minute reason they MAY be similar, and it will be merged.

Post reported. Mostly for having the post reported icon in the post.
