Njoku has a very high ceiling, and a high floor too. That is what makes him safe.

With trends, and the never ending battle to create mismatches, position flexibility makes the other four adaptable players safe picks.

Interesting thread...it takes about 3 years for these guys to mesh talent with being a pro in the NFL.

Here's my safe 5 and I was curious to include the actual top 5 drafted players in 2014. Just curious how the creme de la creme turned out.

2017
1) Jamal Adams (son of George)
2) Christian McCaffrey (son of Ed) nice advantage to be raised by a former NFL pro
3) Reuben Foster (nasty demeanor on the field to go with his size/ speed)
4) Solomon Thomas (that get off and push will take him places)
5) Adoree Jackson (kid can fly and play both ways with superb ball skills)

2014
1) Jadeveon Clowney- led defense to playoffs...finally healthy
2) Greg Robinson- just released disappointed Rams
3) Blake Bortles- so so can light it up one week throw multiple picks the next
4) Sammy Watkins (me me attitude caught over 400 yds this past season)
5) Khalil Mack (another double digit sack season and 5 turnovers) superb pick

You think hed be worth a 38?

2 years in a row drafting a young promising tight end?

I really like him a lot, just don't know how he'll fit in our O.

What were we trying to do with Gates in his prime + Ladarius Green ?

There's the answer.

One of our most effective running plays last year, not at all that I have a pacstud level of understanding, was from an inverted wishbone featuring 22 personnel and a pulling guard.

Add the dimension of the TE and the ORG I want to draft, a blocker/receiver TE, and a more effective ORG, and we are ready for world domination.

google "Chargers inverted wishbone." It is well worth your time. We are close. Uh-oh. I gave away my final mock.

Miles Garrett??? Warren Sapp begs to differ. If you are the Browns roll the dice then use the other picks to move up from 12 and/or 33.
