Rinne won, but didn't look as sharp as he did last series.

Both will be looking to up their play next game, should be interesting.

No Clue what he was thinking diving like that...poor decision and it cost us dearly...very physical game...gotta find a way to put bodies in front of PK's blasts from the circle.

Post reported. This is the kind of sick stuff we don't need around here. Hockey people. Freaks. What goes on around here when I'm gone ?

It looked like he was caught off balance, in that I mean the play developed so quickly that he was caught between which way to play it, and just played it poorly. He knows it, and is less than happy, I am certain.

Gibson did the same thing on the fourth goal (also GWG), as he got caught over playing the flow, ended up on the outside edge of his post. That should never happen, ever.....cost them the game. Weird bounce off the defence skate, but still, if that is player properly, Gibsons stick stops that pass.....

Both losing goalies own the loss in my view.....look for a serious bounce back from both.

Oilers grabbed home ice, Blues lost it, Senators hold serve with a Game 1 win.

Can the Penguins steal home ice, or will the Capitals hold it.....? Tied in the 3rd...

Yep, they did. It's a final, Pittsburgh gets Game 1 at Washington, 3-2

Fleury got a ton of puck love at the end.....

Caps need to fix their own end issues.....

Pressure is huge on the Caps, they need a solid win to ease the 'choke' thoughts creeping into their heads/game

Pens look very focused, and not just their stars, entire team has bought in.

Fleury has a .936 sv %, and that will get plenty of wins.

Caps look close to imploding, Ovi is the only one playing with much energy.

Blues/Preds renew their battles today.....very good series.

Edmonton seems to have the right blend, no panic in them, just sound play.

Ducks are in the same boat as the Caps, except the Ducks still have plenty of team belief. A few bounces the other way, and they would be up 2-0, or so they think. Closing them out will be difficult.....

Blue shirts are not done, and the Sens know it. This series is about to get very physical and exciting for the fans.

Does anybody in this league win on home ice anymore? It has become laughable that teams keep losing at home. Bring back the home whites, NHL, get with it! Teams play better in those, it's a psychological edge, and brings forth the whiteouts.

As far as the Rangers, they blew a two goal lead with just over 3 minutes left. That may be it for them-a bad loss. Lundqvist is no longer the superb goalie he was, age is catching up. NYR defense looking shaky too. Despite being a Ranger fan, I am objective and realistic. I believe they are probably done.

Lundy had a .947 save % in the first round....clearly he still is elite.
