I mean......they are both Pens Cups winner so, peu importe.
Murray was the starting goalie (49 gp) and Fleury was the BU (38 gp), but those 38 were against less challenging opposition.

Both are Cup winners, but the best goalie they have is currently backing up Fleury.....

Anybody catch the opening goal by the Ducks in the first minute of yesterday's game?

A set play in their own end with their right wing sprinting immediately towards the bench as soon as the face-off was won and Richard Rakell sprinting out the door 15 feet further down the ice.

Getzlaf then makes a 2/3 of the length of the ice pass right onto Rakell's stick through a 12 inch or so window! Nice!!

Back in the series with a huge Game 4 coming up Wednesday night!!

A number of teams run that play on a regular basis, and every team is coached on how to defend it, and yet it still works now and then.

It was a huge win, as will be G4, if they manage to win it.....

I said it before, Ducks will be tough to close out.

That's as mojo-juju-luck based as the reality: 95% of the goals in the NHL now are scored on lucky bounces.
Yet another home ice loss tonight, this time the Penguins. Oilers won the first two at Anaheim, then come home and lose. Remarkable. This league has become embarrassing the way home teams cannot win. It must yield the worst home records in sports. I'm somewhat stunned that the Senators won both their home games.

I believe the actual numbers are in favour of the home team, but not by very much. Not too certain why it is an embarrassment, to anyone....The games have been well contested, well played, entertaining games.....exactly what the NHL wants, as well as most fans.

Pens get the worst news possible, Crosby is done for the near future, perhaps even career.

As long as they can avoid a game 7 at home...
