Not indicative that Gehlken will be the beat writer for the LAT.

I haven't followed which writers have followed the 1090 model of burning every possible bridge with the Chargers (except for Acee, whose access will undoubtedly be limited). If Gehlken has chosen a wiser path, I'd imagine he'll be the front runner should he wish to relocate.
I'm very bummed Marty Caswell has guided the Darren Smith show into burning bridges. It's naive of them to think there won't be Chargers fans left.

Annie seems to be moving on. I'd think her and Gehlkin both have a shot at being the new beat writer for the team. Gehlkin seems to be seated in the front row.

It's pathetic to listen to Marty, Darren, Sileo and some of the others.

What's really a shame is to see how much energy they are all expending, trying to ram MLS down the throats of everyone in San Diego. "Great fit", "good for everyone", "perfect opportunity", "win/win for everyone".

Too bad they didn't do the same for Measure C, or a new stadium deal in general.

Marty on Twitter said she is so happy Pagano is with the Raiders. She said she will root for the Raiders whenever they play the Chargers. Then a Raiders fan replied it's even more reason for the show to start covering the Raiders and her response was, "No doubt." Marty needs a forced vacation.

There worst part is they don't want to put it to a vote but rather a council vote. How come the Chargers stadium Faulconer said he wanted the mission Valley spot go to public vote even though they didn't have to? Pathetic.

I don't blame 1090 as they gave it a lot of visibility for a very long time. Certainly more than anyone else. I blame the voters and the mayor.
1090 is now in trouble mode

I don't think it's fair to judge anyone and how they handle this.

I think it's messed up to tell people they should, "Do _________."

Some quit the league, some become Patriot fans, some watch with disinterest, others go to LA. Some don't even know from one day to the next.

I have no problem if media people or whoever are upset and expressing it. Why is that wrong?
