I'm not saying he won't get drafted in the top 10, but what I'm saying he isn't worth a top 10 pick.

Wade Phillips will be putting Aaron Donald, the best 3Tech, in his 34 defense next year-no more 43.

Is he going to play the Jay Ratliff role NT, because no way he is play DE.

Isn't the Phillips 3-4 system the same 1-gap over under like we ran?

It's about the same. However, check out the personnel !

Michael Brockers. I think he's Wade's NT.
Yes, I think Donald is 34DE.
Alec Ogletree.
Mark Barron.
Robert Quinn.
Huh.

This is quite interesting, and something to learn from.

The one thing I am really concerned about is how the CHARGERS draft,
and how we transition the other way.
We have a real chance to create a top 5 defense.

Donta Hightower says enough is enough in NE...

Could this be our missing link in our LB corp?

Would rather not pay top dollar for a guy that was inconsistent.

Seems to me that we've got our LBs in Brown, Perryman and Toomer. We could use some depth but those are all good players IMO.

There it is !

So the questions involve Tourek, Melvin, Emanuel, Perry, Landrum and our draftee.
No jags allowed.

Who are 43 DEs ?
Who can lean up, defend the forward pass, tackle, pursue, and play OLB ?

I AM, if I understand your vision correctly, Jatavis is our SAM, due to coverage skills with some flipping ?

Would you mostly play 43 Over or 43 Under ?

Karl Joseph now that dude was an enforcer in college. A guy who terrified teams in college, and was a very sure tackler. If he squared you up, you weren't getting up. That was a guy that teams didn't want to risk going up the middle because the BOOM was coming.

Jamal Adams IMO is not that guy.

A safety that is not a ballhawk playmaker is not a top 10 pick in my book, and that might be a personal thing. With that being said I love his versatility, but in the top 10 no. I would much rather look in the second round or possibly trading up to get a Budda Baker who IMO is a very good playmaking FS, although it is very likely he is a big riser in this draft.
I completely agree, and that was my biggest argument against drafting Ramsey last year. That and the fact that I didn't think that he viewed himself as a safety.
