The move would make a ton of sense. The Chargers are coached by Anthony Lynn, Buffalo’s former offensive coordinator and interim head coach. Woods is a solid blocker and possession receiver who can do the types of things Lynn wants to do in all phases of the offense.

Woods caught 51 passes for 613 receiving yards and one touchdown in 2016. That will likely be enough to earn him almost $8 million a season, though the current crop of free agent receivers is pretty deep. Woods could certainly make a large impact on a team that actually tries to pass the ball more instead of pace the NFL in rushing attempts for the last two seasons.

$8M per year.....hmmmm
Nope. Lots of options in the draft. IMHO opinion we should seriously consider Evan Engram @ 38. or JuJu.

I agree. His route running and blocking is solid but 8m is kind of expensive with our other needs.

Agree... we cannot afford $8m on a receiver right now. I don't think we can consider WR until round 3 or 4 either in this draft.

Was hoping we could've gotten Brandon Marshall for cheap. Off to the Giants he goes.

I'm beginning to warm up to the idea of adding Woods. Him and Allen running routes together isn't bad at all. His numbers are decent with subpar QBs. His price tag can't seriously be $8m. Hopefully Lynn gets him on a discount.

I expect that the Cleveland Browns will put him through a work out, but i seriously doubt that they will sign him...
