Bromance brewing...lol. Going back to the hat guy...indirectly his workplace benefits with the plug.

I may check out his restaurant for an Italian meal. Liberty Station is a cool place to hang out.

For those inclined to blame everything on Spanos, and give Kevin Faulconer a pass, this is a good read.

According to this story, Faulconer was in direct talks with SoccerCitySD almost a year before Measure C went to the ballot.

Spanos is Satan.

San Diego's leaders are angels.

Jk. Both are Satan. Hopefully more people start seeing that.

Who cares?

Does blame help?

I'm not saying city leadership doesn't deserve blame, but what is wrong with exploring fall back options after the team made it clear they were taking the necessary steps towards relocation. After the Chargers engaged in negotiations with the Raiders it seems kind of smart to not be left with your hands on your knees and no fall back option.

Anyways
most people I talk to are over the whole blame game. Each party did what they felt was best for them. The radio hosts and a small group of bitter fans seem to be the only ones still griping, at least that's what I've seen.

Even the article treds lightly, careful not to spell it out.
Yes San Diego, you've been duped, but not just from the one you're
Spewing vemon to.
Of course blame matters.
It directly effects the narrative people choose to follow and thus their attitudes
Towards the relocation and ultimately their choice to allow
A con man in kevin faulcner to swindle fans out of a product
They may have otherwise chosen to continue to support and cherish

Speak for yourself.

Blame matters zero to me, I never followed the story that much.

My favorite sports team left my hometown.

That's the fact.

Your narrative would seem to hinge on blame, as is your right, and as such you've crafted a narrative that suits your beliefs. No problem there.

I kept mine simple.

My favorite sports team left my hometown.

Then by that narrative don't blame Spanos if you won't blame the city.

At times, 1/4 of the home seats were bought by visiting teams. It doesn't help going 4-12 and 5-11. I guess San Diego fans are fair weather fans who needed a winner to fill up the seats. In that regard...blame the coaches, the players, the GM and the owner. Also blame laid back fickle San Diego.

Please try to keep up. You're supposed to say narrative. I think. It's catchy either way.
